Come join us on Sunday, October 27th for a drum circle at the First United Metaphysical Chapel in Bahama, NC.
The circle will be facilitated by our own Summer Mason who has been drumming for over 20 years and teaches West African drumming at Durham Tech and R-von who has himself been a drum and cultural enthusiast for numerous years.
This is a family affair so bring your drums and/or percussion instruments, flutes and recorders for this joyful event. We will get together at 2:00 pm after fellowship. There will be some drums and other percussion instruments available if you do not have your own drum to bring so plan to join us for high spirits and fun!
A love offering of $10 is being asked or whatever you can afford – no one will be turned away!
We invite you to join in the fun with us at our second Bowl Circle on Sunday Oct 20th, 2013 at 2:00pm. Please BYOB (Bring Your Own Bowl) if you have one. If not, there will be Tibetan and Crystal bowls you can play. Use your voice to “sing along with the bowls” if you feel called to. There will also be room for taking turns lying on the floor and enjoying the healing vibrations.
You can also just come, be a “listener” and enjoy the peaceful vibrations as we focus our intent on sending healing, peaceful energy around the Earth! This event will also be a celebration of LIFE! Don’t worry about arriving late or leaving early—just come join us for the time that you can!
If you’ve never played a bowl before, Scott will teach how to work with the vibration and healing with the Bowls! This informal event will is the continuation of the development of our “SOUND CIRCLE”!
There is no charge for this event, but there is a suggested Love Offering of $5 or more. However, NO ONE will be turned away for lack of funds.
Healing Share – Tuesday, October 22, 2013 (7:00PM – 10:00 PM)
All levels of Reiki, Energy and Bowl Healers are welcome and no prior experience is needed. We will have at least 4 tables to work with, so we can have a Reiki Table, a Sound/Reiki Table or what ever combinations we want. We can take turns at different stations and giving and receiving the energy. If you have a bowl or do energy healing, come!!! If you don’t have any experience, come!!! This is going to be a LOT of fun and a chance to help spread the gift of healing.
The cost is a Love Offering, that will go directly to The First United Metaphysical Chapel in appreciation of offering the space to us and for all they have done for spiritual metaphysics. NO ONE will be turned away for lack of funds.
It will run from 7:00 PM until 10:00 PM or until we are finished. Come for the entire time, or part of the time, all are welcome.

The wonderful Sound Healer Robert Austin will be vistiting our Chapel on Sept 15th and putting on a sound healing concert for us. It will be at 2:00pm (after fellowship). There is a recommended love offering of $20.00 for the concert.
